FINANCIAL TOOLS
How it Works
Purpose
At the core of our model is a powerful public-private partnership that combines investment capital, breakthrough remediation technology, local leadership, and grant funding to transform contaminated lands into thriving, regenerative ecosystems. This four-part framework ensures that every dollar invested is both financially sound and ecologically impactful.
01
Private Capital Flows into an Opportunity Zone Fund
Private Capital Flows into an Opportunity Zone Fund
Our initiative begins with a dedicated Opportunity Zone Fund (OZ Fund) managed by Zaid Sri Anta LLC. This vehicle enables impact-aligned investors to participate in meaningful environmental restoration projects while accessing substantial tax incentives and long-term capital appreciation.
Capital is deployed into Qualified Opportunity Zone Businesses (QOZBs) focused on revenue-generating remediation services, ensuring that every investment supports both economic growth and environmental renewal.
Our capital model unlocks regeneration as a scalable, investable asset class.
02
Private Capital Flows into an Opportunity Zone Fund
Earth Equity Inc. equips local partners with the tools, systems, and oversight needed to succeed. We provide:
-
NaturaSolve bioremediation formulas for detoxifying contaminated soils and cesspools
-
Arbok low-energy water purification units for brownfield runoff and agricultural water safety
-
Real-time monitoring software and a robust telemetry platform to track soil and water health
-
Impact dashboards and reporting tools to ensure transparency, compliance, and investor confidence
Our technology empowers nonprofits and local teams to deliver measurable, repeatable outcomes.
03
Implements On the Ground
The Hanalei Initiative serves as our primary boots-on-the-ground implementation partner. With deep community trust and regional insight, they:
-
Deploy remediation systems at high-risk sites
-
Engage local labor and stakeholders in the process
-
Log field data into Earth Equity’s systems
-
Provide feedback to optimize results and guide future planning
Over time, the Hanalei Initiative is transitioning into a long-term regional co-operator, supported by sustained grant funding and equipped to independently manage ongoing remediation across the islands.
This is not a one-time pilot—it’s a long-term, local empowerment strategy.
04
Grants Expand the Work
With verified data from pilot sites and QOZB operations, we unlock non-dilutive capital from:
-
USDA soil restoration and conservation programs
-
EPA brownfield and environmental justice initiatives
-
Hawaii Department of Health (DOH) cesspool conversion and watershed protection grants
-
Additional federal and philanthropic sources aligned with climate resilience and water security
This blended finance model allows us to match private capital with public funding, dramatically amplifying impact without requiring additional equity dilution or debt burden.
Our structure ensures sustainability, scalability, and continued funding for years to come.

Next Steps
01
Fund Formation & Investment Commitments
We are targeting a $1M initial close for our Qualified Opportunity Fund (QOF), enabling us to begin capital deployment into high-impact remediation businesses (QOZBs). This fund unlocks both tax-advantaged returns for investors and measurable environmental restoration in Hawaii’s most vulnerable areas.
02
Launch Remediation at Priority Sites
With initial capital in place, we will activate remediation at 5–10 high-priority zones identified through risk mapping and community input. These sites represent the greatest potential for soil and water recovery, and will serve as the foundation for data collection, grant alignment, and community engagement.
03
Submit Grants to Support Expansion
Leveraging data and results from early deployments, our team will submit 5–7 targeted grant applications within the first 90 days. These applications will be directed to USDA, EPA, Hawaii DOH, and philanthropic funders to secure non-dilutive capital and expand remediation efforts beyond the pilot phase.
04
Engage Local Leaders & Partners
We are committed to community-driven development. Through public briefings, educational workshops, and onboarding sessions, we will align local leaders, nonprofits, and residents around a shared vision of ecological and economic regeneration.
05
Scale Statewide
Our model is built for replication. With proven results and sustainable funding, we aim to expand into 2–4 additional Hawaiian districts by Year 2. Each new region will benefit from localized partnerships, remediated lands, job creation, and long-term ecological stewardship.
